Performing Schedule
Sessions -- Every Month
French/European Session: Traditional French music with the hurdy-gurdy, button accordion and fiddle, and French musette music on the conventional accordion. Also some Italian, Scandinavian and other western European music when we can come up with it. Hosted by Mitch and Roz. First Wednesday of every month, 7:30-10 PM, Black Rose Irish Pub and Restaurant, Santa Rosa.
Slow Celtic Session and Song Circle: Traditional Irish and Scottish tunes on traditional instruments and ballad singing in a friendly setting with beginning players welcome (if they can carry a tune at a fixed tempo from one end to the other). Hosted by Mitch and Roz. Second Wednesday of every month, 7:30-10 PM, Black Rose Irish Pub and Restaurant, Santa Rosa.
The Black Rose Irish Pub serves excellent pub food (including great fish and chips) and beverages, and is a friendly, welcoming place run by Will Roll of County Cork, Ireland, who is a great supporter of local traditional musicians.
